Hello good sir! I have renewed this certificate ahead of time (2 weeks), should it overwrite the current certificate or will it wait for the current one to expire before defaulting to the new one? I thought I encountered the same issue in my lab. All three vsphere-csi-controller pods are in CrashLoopBackOff on the supervisor cluster. But after looking at the syncer logs, It connects successfully with vCenter Server but throws and error: "Error initializing StoragePool Service. Error: could not find any AvailabilityZone"

so after downgrade will i be able to upgrade it later again ?

Hey Alex. I have a question about the KB articles in general. Im currently doing the VMware hands on labs for work and this is the first time I’m doing anything related to VMware. The task says “within the vsphere UI you recall seeing a KB article that describes the symptoms and the resolutions. What is the KB article number referenced regarding vCLS Health.” I did eventually find the correct article after a bit of googling but I didn’t really find anything within the vSphere Client that would’ve led me to the correct number, besides a ‘regular’ vCenter Server health alarm (however the vCenter Health is in the green and it says overall health is good). My question is what would be best practice if this were a real life scenario to find the correct corresponding article without relying on the information provided by the task, which made it easy to just copy paste for the correct Article Number. Like where would I start looking for any logs or error messages to find the correct article. I did. find some error messages in the lab but those referred to vms not being allowed to be powered on in their current state as the VM was inaccessible, this lead me to other KB articles which weren’t the correct one for the task. The correct one for the task was 79892 which relates to DRS functionality being impacted by unhealthy state of vSphere Cluster Services and I found no error relating to DRS or the Cluster directly

In my case, having configure static aggregation via the switch, and follow this guide on my VM 7.0, I tested using mikrotik hosts routers but i could not see more than 1 gig traffic after i bundle 2 gig ports. Has anyone tested this case real life? if so, what did you use for the test.

none of this even exists. I cannot understand why this, a very important part of the software that is paid for, is hidden. Not one of the instruction videos or text instructions is correct. There just is no vmware tools. it is so useless for me that i cannot share between my computer and vm. so incredibly frustrating considering everyone asks you the same question everywhere. It's almost like you did a terrible job of how you allow people to access it.

That's clever, to *reset* the admin password, you need to log as admin, and none of the commands provided in various VMware KBs work. In 8.10, admin is not even a system user (any longer?) From 8.10, nothing shown here works, everything has changed. I'm not going to document it for you, guys, the KB for 8.10 is wrong from the first word (no, $VMWARE_PYTHON_BIN $VCOPS_BASE is not defined when you're root, and a system-wide search never finds vcopsSetAdminPassword.py). Release first... Splunk might save the day in the end.

hilarious, the video shows you can't extend the disk partition, the very thing I need to do. in v13 the virtual disk partition does not resize automatically as described.
